A person holding a credit card while shopping online on a laptop

English Translation

Recently, I had been thinking about buying a new speaker to listen to music at home.

When I looked online, the speaker I liked cost 18,000 yen new. That was a little over my budget, so I decided to look for a used one as well.

I found the same model being sold for 11,000 yen. It was much cheaper, but I could see a small scratch in the photos.

The description said that it worked without any problems, but I didn’t know how long it had been used.

Since it was 7,000 yen cheaper than the new one, I wasn’t sure which to choose for a while.

However, I wanted to use it for a long time, so rather than deciding based only on price, I decided to buy a new one that came with a warranty.

It ended up costing a little more than my budget, but when I tried it after it arrived, the sound was good and I felt comfortable using it.

It’s not that used items are bad. I realized that the right choice can depend on what is most important to you.
